Simple Way To Transform Lives
When the American economy gets hit it affects other countries, specifically third-world countries.
Currently, Footsteps is identifying ministries in our partner countries with hopes of meeting the needs of those countries that have been hit the hardest.
Through our new initiative “Stepping Together,” we have learned that one of the largest needs is to enroll street children in school.
Let me share with you the story of Michael. Michael is already a young man of 11 years old.
He lives in an area called "The Swamp” because when it rains, the ground around his house floods.
In the picture, Michael stands next to his house where he lives with his mother and three sisters.
School is not a possibility for Michael. Not because school costs anything — it is free.
But he is required to buy a uniform, books for classes, and school supplies before he can attend.
If he doesn’t attend school, he will be a “child of the streets” and will be at risk for getting involved with gangs, drugs, and crime.
Please join me in reaching out to these children. You can sponsor one backpack for every $99 donation.
Also, you may wish to participate in packing the backpacks or seeing where they are donated. If you would like more information about these options, please email us at info@footstepsmissions.org. Call us today as we prepare to enable children to start the February school term.
Help us meet our goal of sending 1,000 children from the streets to school!
